Tristin completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Calgary and a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta. She is a licensed occupational therapist in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) and Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
Tristin is certified in providing Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy and Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluations. She has a diverse clinical background in areas of cognitive, psychosocial, and physical assessment and rehabilitation. Areas of practice include ergonomic and work function assessments, vocational rehabilitation for individuals with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses and PE therapy for Canadian veterans and persons with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Tristin’s clinical practice also includes functional vision and neurorehabilitation for persons with traumatic brain injury and post-concussion syndrome.
Tristin is an avid traveller, who has backpacked to over 15 countries outside of Canada which provided an opportunity to practice occupational therapy in Indonesia.
